Starting your morning feeling calm, grounded & motivated

When you have a morning practice, you set the intention for the day. You create your life and therefore it is also completely up to you, how you like your morning to start. By creating your personal morning practice you get to set the energy for the day which effects the entire day.

A morning practice can take 10 minutes, 1/2 hour, 1 hour or longer. Depending on where you are in your life and what you feel suites your needs.

In this post, I will share my morning practice as it is now. It contains several morning rituals. Sometimes it changes after a month or so. Depending on what themes & areas, I focus on in my life. I get inspired by others & by that my guides tells me during my meditations and ceremonies. I always do my best to choose morning practices that leaves me with a feeling of happiness, pleasure & joy.

When I get up in the morning, the first thing I do is to make a glas of lemon water (1/2 glas full of water with 1/2 lemon) & drink it. Then I sit down by my alter and draw an angle card & use DoTERRA oils for grouding, protection & motivation. This morning I have used Vetiver (for grounding), On guard (for protection of my energy & immune system). I have also used Motivate & Anchor. Then I sit for a 20 minutes meditation. First I say something like the following:

"All guides, gods, goddesh & beings of the highest light, I am in service of the highest light & love. I ask you to guide me on my way. Showing me what to say, what to do & how to walk on this earth. I ask you do this in the most loving, gentle & still effective way. For the highest light & highest good"

Then I sit in silence and focus on my breathing. Of course, thoughts and feelings show up. I sometime go along with them or go back to focusing on breathing.

After the meditation, I might write down a few things that has come up. Then I take my notebook an write a few thing, I want to manifest. It might be "A nice day with my boyfriend" or "A trip to Sweden". Anything that comes to my mind. Small or big. I write it down for my system to own what I want & for the universe to help me manifest it. After that, I write a list of things, I am grateful for right now.

In the morning, I also like to do my daily exercise. For me, I know it is best I move my body for at least one hour every day. Either I go for a yoga class (5 min away on bike) or go for a walk. It has to easy for me to exercise for it to happen. For grounding I take off my shoes & stand on the ground for 5 minutes in the morning.

When starting the day, my way, I feel the day is mine. I feel more ready & motivated to create what I wish to create. Everyone who feels inspired to have a morning practice needs to create their own morning practice, long or short with the rituals that works for them.

My intention is to inspire you to create your own. It has taken we many years to come to place where my morning practice is over 1 hour. First I did 10 minutes of meditation that was it. You can always add more rituals when it feels true to you. Start small and feel you have a success with your ritual.

Somedays, I don´t do it all. But most days I do. Because I just feel the big difference within my body. And I see what a big difference it makes in my life. I get way more creative & act on my dreams when I do my morning practice. I feel more happy & calm. And I feel my intuition more clearly. Knowing what needs to be done that day and what can wait, so that I can rest and have fun while going for my dreams.
